AI Karma Tracker (“we”, “us”) is a browser extension and website that helps you track AI usage limits. We keep data handling minimal on purpose: the extension is built to run on your own machine.

The extension runs locally

The extension reads the usage limits of AI tools you are already logged into (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Perplexity) using your browser’s existing session. Those reads happen in your browser, against those providers’ own endpoints. Your usage data is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage) and is not transmitted to us. We do not collect your passwords, cookies, browsing history, or the contents of your AI conversations.

Data that leaves your device

License verification. When you activate Pro, the extension sends the license key you paste to Gumroad to verify it’s valid. We do not receive or store your card details.

Telegram alerts (optional). If you choose to connect Telegram, we store a random link code and your Telegram chat ID on our relay so it can deliver alerts to you. Nothing else is sent. You can disconnect at any time from the extension settings, which removes the link.

What we do not do

We do not sell or transfer your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not track the web pages you visit or log your activity.

Third parties

We rely on: Gumroad (payments, tax and license verification, as Merchant of Record), Supabase (serverless functions that power the optional Telegram alert relay), Telegram (only if you enable alerts), and the Chrome Web Store (distribution). Each processes data under its own policy.

Retention

Telegram links are kept until you disconnect. Gumroad retains purchase and license records per its own policy. You can request deletion of any data we hold by emailing us.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Contact anliberant@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

AI Karma Tracker is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
